Due to increasing meter prices along with the manual labor and time that goes into crediting the usage from the sewer deduct meters, the qualifications of the outside water metering program have changed for the 2025 watering season as follows:
New Construction Homes
Eligible for one meter.
Existing Homes
Eligible for one meter if at least 50% of the yard needs regrading and replanting with seed or sod. Homeowners must provide photo evidence of the yard's condition.
Refundable Deposit
A $100 refundable deposit is required for meter rental. This will be credited back to the account listed on the application. This deposit will be credited to the same account after the meter is returned, tested, and found to be in good working condition.
Meter Return
The meter must be returned by November 30th each year. Failure to return the meter by this date will result in forfeiture of the $100 deposit.
Rental Fee
An annual, non-refundable rental fee of $20 applies to the September bill. All meters must be returned before December 30th each year. *Approximately 4,300 gallons of water need to be used through this meter to offset this annual fee before you begin saving any money.

Sewer charges will be credited at a rate of $3.51 per unit (748 gallons).
Water usage through the meter will be billed at $3.80 per unit (748 gallons).
Please note that rates are subject to change.

Customers will be billed for any damages resulting from negligence.
