Cross Connection Information

Did You Know...?
Your water can become contaminated if your plumbing connections are not properly protected.

The Cross-Connection Control Program, required by state plumbing codes and regulations, ensures that everyone in the community has access to safe, clean drinking water.

It's About Public Safety.
To prevent contamination, backflow preventers are mandated by state plumbing codes wherever there is an actual or potential cross-connection hazard. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources requires all public water suppliers to maintain an ongoing Cross-Connection Control Program, which includes public education, onsite inspections, and corrective actions when necessary by building owners.

Hired by the City of Watertown Water Department to complete the Industrial and Commercial cross-connection inspections.   Follow the link to learn more about HydroCorp.
